With backgrounds in Industrial Design and Graphic Design, I entered the digital marketing and user experience design industries with solid artistic foundations. My design theories revolve around user-oriented thinking and aesthetics. At SCAD, I engaged myself in an array of activities that include market research, brainstorming sessions, visual design, and problem-solving. I especially enjoyed developing innovative ways to connect with my audience to achieve business goals via visual communication. One belief of mine is that design has the power to change people’s perspectives and corresponding behaviors, and this empowers me, a designer, to embrace new business opportunities. I intend to be such a designer who cares what people care about, and leverage my expertise to make a statement as well as a difference.
